Luke and Shelley from Tamborine Mountain first made contact with the Energy Solution Centre by walking into our showroom and technology centre in Nerang, Gold Coast after having driven past many times.

The main reason that motivated them to come into the showroom was that since purchasing their new home in Tamborine Mountain they had experienced multiple long and short blackouts. It got to the point where they were ultimately annoyed by this and wondered what could be done with their existing 6.6kW solar system to further reduce the remainder of their energy bill..

As with many of our clients that enter our showroom, we like to go through a brief knowledge checklist to confirm that they understand the technology, the network restrictions and limitations, and how to ensure their home will function and be compatible with future technology.

Once we brought the couple up to speed, we went on to discuss their options and pathways to achieving their goals of reducing their energy bills and maintaining power to their essential circuits in the house.

After several potential system designs, we decided the most efficient, advantageous, and economical solution was to remove the existing 5kW inverter that managed the existing 6.6kW of solar power and install a brand new SolarEdge 10kW Home Hub Inverter. Due to SolarEdge being a DC optimised system, we are able to install optimisers on the existing solar array, as well as, add an additional 6.6kW solar system to bring the total system size to 13.3kW.

Once we established the additional energy generation, we utilised the SolarEdge Home product suite to install a Backup Interface and their 10kWh Battery. Together, they will ensure that the next time the power goes out, the lights stay on as well as several other circuits nominated by our clients.

From sale to install all went well albeit with a few small hiccups in communication. The install team were professional and did a great job, very neat and tidy. We did however have a problem when the installers missed a power wire in the meter box, that caused our pool pump not to have power, it was easily fixed but took a week or so. Great job overall and I'd happily refer this company to anyone looking to have a system installed.

ECS had not only the best price but also the best service. Nothing was to hard all questions answered. When it cam eto install Flynn and his crew were very good, they answered all my queries , cleaned up well at the end and gave good instruction on high to use the app.

We are repeat customers to Energy Solution Centre (ESC).   Our roof and solar system were damaged during a significant hail storm, requiring replacement of both.  ESC still came out as the best value for money quote and our previous experience with them was excellent so it was an easy decision.   We had dealt with Keith Butler (Sales) before and were very happy to be speaking with Keith again.  As before, the communication and advice was excellent as we waited for our roof to be replaced.  Keith maintained contact throughout. The installation team, as expected, were knowledgeable and professional.   The lead for the team always made time for my questions, provided me with a detailed explanation of setup, writing and shut down procedures.  The increase in battery size is fantastic. Months after my Inital purchase of the solar system I was able to walk into the showroom and and get the help I needed.To have  the knowledge to understand the controls on the phone clearly and concisely explained to give me confidence that I have over the system. Kane came out to our house to discuss what we wanted and what could be done at our property.
