The Role

What You Will
Own

Energy Solution Centre is expanding and we are looking for a reliable, organised, and people-focused Appointment Setter and Admin Support team member to join our in-house team on the Gold Coast.

This is not a call-centre churn role. There are no cold call lists, no pressure tactics, and no hard selling. This is structured appointment setting and customer coordination for premium solar and battery solutions, backed by a marketing engine that keeps warm leads coming in consistently.

You will be the first voice many customers hear when they reach out to ESC. That first impression matters, and we need someone who understands that and takes it seriously. If you enjoy organisation, clear systems, quality conversations, and being genuinely rewarded for doing things properly, this role is worth your attention.

Your Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Stable and predictable hours with no late nights
  • No weekend work
  • Based at our Gold Coast showroom

What You Will Be Doing

  • Responding to inbound calls and online enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Greeting and assisting walk-in customers at our showroom
  • Managing and qualifying incoming leads
  • Booking and confirming appointments for our Solar and Battery Specialists
  • Supporting basic admin tasks related to appointments and customer records
  • Maintaining clean and accurate CRM data at all times
  • Following up professionally to ensure appointment attendance rates stay high

This role is a mix of appointment setting and admin support. The focus is on quality conversations and well-prepared appointments, not volume calling.

The Leads and Setup

One of the things that makes this role different from a typical appointment setting position is the quality of what you are working with.

  • Around 80 percent of leads are warm, coming from marketing, showroom walk-ins, and referrals
  • Minimal cold outreach required
  • Clear call scripts and frameworks provided from day one
  • CRM-based workflows with full team support
  • Experienced sales and leadership team available when you need guidance

You are not convincing people that solar exists. They have already raised their hand. Your job is to have a good conversation and book a well-qualified appointment.

This Role Is Not For Everyone

We want to be straightforward with you. This role will not suit everyone and that is fine.

If phone conversations are not your comfort zone, you are looking for shortcuts, or you prefer low-accountability environments where effort goes unnoticed, this is not the right fit. What We Are Looking For

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • CRM experience in a previous role
  • Confidence using Google Workspace
  • A background in customer service, reception, or outbound calling
  • A strong phone manner and a naturally organised approach

The following will put your application ahead:

  • Prior experience in an appointment setting role
  • Experience in solar, energy, or a related industry
  • Familiarity with sales processes and lead qualification

Solar experience is not required. Full training is provided. What matters most is that you are reliable, communicate well, and take genuine pride in doing the job properly.
